For serious dancers looking to take their dance training to the next level. Adjudicated by professional judges at competitions and travel to Halifax is required. Extra comp fees.

Class Description:
This class focuses on training for pointe. Dancers must have proper foot alignment and understanding of weight transfer. Once approved, dancers will be able to get fitted for their pointe shoes. Traditionally, dancers will sew their own pointes in class with the teacher for proper stitching. Barre exercises and demi-pointe centre exercises to begin.

Ballet & Contemporary
INT. Ages 10+
Performance Class (Showcase)
Class Description:
This class focuses on Ballet foundation, skills, weight transfer and technique strengthening.
The dancers will learn/execute turns, leaps and jump training at this level.
We also focus on Contemporary choreography, improv and combos throughout the term.
Dancers will perform a Contemporary routine in the Showcase.

Class Description:
This class focuses on Choreography for Competition and Showcase.
Dancers must audition or be selected for this class. Dancers will learn an additional routine. Various dance styles: Ballet, Contemporary, Pointe, Acro, Jazz, Hip-Hop.
Dance training must be acquired before joining this team.

This class focuses on Choreography for Competition and Showcase.

Intro to Dance (Creative Movement)

10 weeks
Class Description:
This introductory class is perfect for dancers ages 4-6 who wish to learn
the following dance styles: Acro, Ballet, Contemporary and Hip-Hop. Exploring different combos and exercises each week, we aim for a fun and engaging class with the tiny dancers.

Hip-Hop & Acrobatics
BEG. Ages 7-9
Performance Class (Showcase)
Class Description:
This class teaches the basics and helps refines Acrobatic skills, drills and core strengthening.
We also focus on Hip-Hop choreography, steps and combos throughout the term.
Dancers will perform a Hip-Hop routine in the Showcase.
Schedule is subject to change.
Class placement is based on age, however, can be subject to change after observing the student’s dance abilities. This is at the discretion of the teacher.
Registration fees are refundable within 2 weeks of start date.
Sign-up deposits, costume rentals and competition fees are non-refundable.
2ND TERM 2024 (14+ weeks)
Costume Rental Fees are required to be paid 1st term per class, per style: $25.00.
This payment covers for Showcase costumes. Competition Fees are to be paid by October 2023. Recreational classes do not pay for costume rentals.
Competition Dancers: Jan 15th – May 25th
Performance Dancers: Jan 22nd – May 25th
Recreational Dancers: Jan 27th – April 13th
There will be no classes on Holidays, March Break and Competition Weekend. Parents are responsible to keep updated on classes throughout the seasons.

Dress Rehearsal in Tusket on Friday, May 24th 2024. 5:00-7:30pm
Two Showcase performances in Tusket on Saturday, May 25th 2024.
Matinee Showcase: 2:00-3:00pm
Evening Showcase: 5:30-6:30pm

Cash is accepted at the door for last minute tickets. While quantities last.
