Fall Schedule 2024

1st term Classes begin September 16th – December 4th 2024

We have an updated schedule posted for our classes this season:

MONDAY: (Competitive)
5:30-6:30pm = Competition Team (ages 9+)
6:30-7:30pm = Competition Solo, Duo, Trios (ages 9+)

TUESDAY: (Performance) 
5:00-5:30pm = Pre-Pointe Training (ages 10+)
5:30-6:30pm = Ballet/Contemporary (ages 10+)
6:30-7:30pm = Ballet/Contemporary (ages 6-9)
 

WEDNESDAY: (Performance)
5:30-6:30pm = Hip-Hop (ages 10+)
6:30-7:30pm = Hip-Hop/Acrobatics (ages 6-9)

SATURDAY: (Recreational) 10 weeks
11:00-11:45am = Intro to Dance (ages 4-5.5)
12:00-1:00pm = Jazz/Acrobatics (ages 6+)

Spring Schedule 2025

We are so excited to be offering NEW classes at the NEW Recreational Centre!

We will be offering various styles of dance including: Acrobatics, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz & Hip-Hop
for ages 4+

Stay posted for future updates as we get closer to creating our new dance program in a new space located, in Barrington.
 
Estimated time of completion for the Rec. Centre is April 1st 2025. We will plan the classes accordingly. We are so excited to start dancing!

DGD Studios

The focus at Defying Gravity Dance is to teach any student, regardless of their experience or background, to reach their full potential as a dancer.

Allowing their creative process to grow at their own speed and providing safe opportunities to master and present their craft along the way.

Teaching various dance exercises and creating unique choreography weekly for all the students to practice and enjoy! DGD has students of various ages and dance levels from: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced to Pre-Professional Classes & Adult. 

Styles from: Acrobatics, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop & More.. 

Competitive, Performance & Recreational class options available for dancers. We also strive to keep updated schedules and classes each year based on student’s interest!
